Some of our best students

I’m excited to announce that we have selected 13 students to join the Dean’s Scholars Society. This honor carries with it a scholarship from the College.

This marks our second class for the group, which we started last year as a way to honor some of our best junior and senior students for their academic achievement, leadership and commitment to service.

Being named a Dean’s scholar is a great honor. It’s one that comes with an opportunity to be more closely involved with the College and to build a personal and professional network with some of the brightest minds here at UNL. We hope these students will continue feeling connected to the College and to their fellow dean’s scholars long after they graduate. As we like to say, “Once a dean’s scholar, always a dean’s scholar.”

To be honest, our selection process this year was very difficult. We wish we could give out more than 13 but we were limited by scholarship funds available.
