A spirited display

It’s A&S Fest here at UNL and a prime time to see pride in the College of Arts and Sciences on display.

The week of events is organized by the A&S Student Advisory Board (SAB) and is designed around showing appreciation for our students.

I stopped by on Monday as their event was winding down. They had given away Arts and Sciences’ T-shirts (they went quick!) and pop. The wind was blowing like crazy and it was cold, but it didn’t bring down the student organizers any. They were just as happy as can be. They were so excited about what they had done. I’m always happy to see that kind of enthusiasm.

Monday was just the start of it. The SAB has events planned all week and the Dean’s Scholars will participate, too. Check out our website, ascweb.unl.edu , for the rest of the week’s schedule.
