Hot off the presses!

Our latest issue of Columns magazine is out and I think it’s one of the greatest issues yet.

Our cover story introduces our readers to Dennis Molfese, a world-renowned brain-imaging expert who will lead UNL’s Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior. He’s helping create an exciting interface between the life sciences and the social sciences. His work and the new center are poised to galvanize research efforts at UNL and we couldn’t be more thrilled about its prospects for the future.

The magazine also has some great features on students and faculty. You can read about some of our newest faculty members and some of our longest serving. The common thread is that their stories are energizing and their endeavors are impactful. I think they’re great examples of some of the remarkable work under way in the College.
