Meet the finalists

UNL is interviewing four candidates for the position of Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. This is a critical position since the SVCAA makes decisions on the areas we hire in, the distribution of resources across the colleges, curriculum matters, and promotion and tenure, among other things. All of the deans, with the exception of those in the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, report to the SVCAA, who then reports to Chancellor Harvey Perlman.
What we’re looking for is someone who is able to help the university articulate a vision, has interesting and fresh ideas, can make tough decisions and is fair.
